Fractal Audio FM9 MK II Turbo — Flagship Amp Modeling & Multi-Effects Processor

Professional-grade tone. Unmatched versatility. One complete rig.

The Fractal Audio FM9 MK II Turbo is a powerhouse all-in-one floor processor designed for musicians who demand uncompromising sound quality, extensive tonal control, and professional performance capabilities. Built on the technology of the legendary Axe-Fx III, the FM9 combines advanced amp modeling, world-class effects, and an integrated foot controller in a single road-ready unit.

With four DSP cores and over 10% more processing power than the original FM9, the MK II Turbo is engineered to handle complex signal chains, sophisticated effects routing, and demanding presets without sacrificing the quality Fractal Audio is known for.

From pristine cleans and expressive vintage amplifiers to crushing modern metal tones, the FM9 gives you the freedom to build virtually any rig you can imagine.

Exceptional Amp Modeling

At the heart of the FM9 is Fractal Audio's advanced CYGNUS X2 amp modeling technology, designed to recreate the sound, feel, and dynamic response of real amplifiers with remarkable detail.

Explore an extensive collection of classic, boutique, and modern amplifier models, including high-gain tones built for aggressive rhythm playing, articulate low tunings, and expressive lead work.

With two independent Amp blocks, you can create complex dual-amp configurations, blend different amplifier characters, and build tones that would otherwise require an elaborate physical rig.

Studio-Quality Cabinet Simulation

The FM9 combines UltraRes™ impulse response technology and DynaCab™ speaker simulation to give you extensive control over your cabinet sound.

Choose from a vast library of factory cabinets, load your own impulse responses, and fine-tune microphone selection and positioning to achieve the sound you want. Go directly into a front-of-house console, studio monitors, or your recording interface with a polished, consistent tone—without the need for a physical speaker cabinet.

An Extensive Effects Library

Beyond its amplifier modeling, the FM9 features hundreds of professional-quality effects inspired by the Axe-Fx III platform.

Explore an extensive selection of overdrives, distortions, compressors, delays, reverbs, modulation effects, pitch-shifting tools, wahs, EQs, and more. Build elaborate signal chains, combine multiple effects, and customize every detail of your sound.

With flexible Scenes and Channels, you can switch between different tones and effect configurations within a preset, making the FM9 equally suited for intricate live arrangements and detailed studio production.

Designed for Professional Performance

The FM9 MK II Turbo features nine onboard footswitches with color LED rings and enlarged mini-displays, giving you clear visual feedback and flexible hands-free control onstage.

Its intuitive interface, high-resolution color display, and customizable footswitch layouts make it easy to navigate presets, activate effects, change Scenes, and control your rig in real time. For even greater control, the FM9 supports compatible Fractal Audio FC foot controllers.

The rugged steel chassis and protective endcaps are built for demanding live environments, while its extensive connectivity makes integration with existing equipment straightforward.

A Complete Recording Solution

The FM9 is more than a live guitar processor. Its built-in 8-in/8-out USB audio interface supports recording, playback, and re-amping directly through your computer.

Capture your processed guitar signal and a clean DI simultaneously, experiment with different amp models after recording, or integrate the FM9 into a professional DAW workflow. With dedicated software editing and preset management, building and organizing your sounds is easier than ever.
