Fractal Audio FM3 MK II Turbo — Amp Modeler & Multi-Effects Processor

Flagship Fractal Audio tone. Compact design. Unlimited creative possibilities.

The Fractal Audio FM3 MK II Turbo packs world-class amp modeling, studio-grade effects, and powerful performance control into a compact floor unit built for serious musicians. Drawing from the technology behind the legendary Axe-Fx III, it delivers exceptional tone, dynamic response, and versatility for the stage, studio, and home recording setup.

From pristine cleans and expressive vintage tones to crushing modern high-gain sounds, the FM3 MK II Turbo gives you an extraordinary range of tonal possibilities without the need to carry multiple amplifiers, cabinets, and pedalboards.

Authentic Amp Modeling. Exceptional Feel.

Powered by Fractal Audio's CYGNUS X2 amp modeling, the FM3 MK II Turbo recreates the character, response, and feel of real tube amplifiers. Explore hundreds of amp models, from iconic vintage classics to aggressive modern amplifiers designed for the heaviest styles of music.

Pair your amp with UltraRes™ and DynaCab™ speaker simulation to shape your cabinet tone and microphone placement with remarkable flexibility. Whether you're dialing in studio-ready cleans, articulate modern metal tones, or massive low-tuned riffs, the FM3 gives you the tools to build your signature sound.

A Complete Effects Arsenal

Go far beyond amp modeling with an extensive collection of professional-quality effects based on Fractal Audio's acclaimed flagship platform. Build sophisticated signal chains using overdrives, distortions, compressors, modulation, delays, reverbs, EQs, and more.

Create complete virtual rigs, save your favorite tones, and use Scenes to switch between different sounds and effect combinations within a preset. The Turbo's additional processing power also provides greater room for complex presets compared with the original FM3.

Built for the Stage and Studio

The FM3 MK II Turbo is designed to integrate seamlessly into modern guitar and bass setups. Connect directly to a PA system, studio monitors, or recording interface, or integrate it with your existing amplifier and effects rig.

Its rugged steel chassis, intuitive color display, and three customizable footswitches make it a powerful performance tool. The MK II Turbo also features larger, easier-to-read footswitch displays and over 10% more DSP processing power than the original FM3.

With its built-in USB audio interface, you can record, play back audio, and re-amp directly through your computer—making it equally capable as a live performance rig and a compact recording solution.
